Born in Haiti and raised in New York and then Miami, R&B singer Qwote got his
big break when he began working with rapper Trina. Their first collaboration,
"Phone Sexx," appeared on Trina's 2008 album Still da Baddest. Later that year,
Trina made a guest shot on Qwote's own single "Don't Wanna Fight," released by
the Slip 'N' Slide label. A remix of the track featuring reggae singer Shaggy
soon appeared, and then a David Guetta remix took the track into the clubs and
onto the dancefloor. Now he's back on track with his new single, featuring Trina
and T-Pain.

an early age. Drawing inspiration from artists like Sam Cooke, The Beatles,
Michael Jackson and Lenny Kravitz, Qwote decided to commit to music and work

of Final Cut Music Group. His writing skills and charming vocals quickly led him
to a record deal with Slip N Slide. To this date, Qwote has collaborated with
Trina, Wayne Wonder and Shaggy among others.

While his debut album is still in the works, Qwote is looking forward to
collaborating with a stellar roster of producers on his upcoming project. “The
album will be about me and my vocals and my skills as a song writer” says Qwote.
“I hope the album will please my fans’ minds, bodies and souls.”
